XNADevelopment.com - Move the Growing Creature but do not CollideHOT
Move the Growing Creature but do not Collide was a fun little project and I worked hard at keeping it fairly simple. It's not a full fledged game since I did not add sounds or save the scores, but it does have move through the title screen to the game screen and track the game over state. One things I worked on doing differently with this Snake clone was to not use the typical "grid" approach for movement and collisions. The snake creature in this version is free moving and the tail follows through a system of way points. Very fun. I just wanted to give some more XNA Game Framework game samples out there for those entry level guys just looking to get started, so hopefully "Move the Growing Creature But Do Not Collide" helps out.
